Annual observations
Annual values require all 12 months. Temperature means are weighted by calendar days. Gaps indicate unavailable annual values. Estimated and provisional readings remain included and are flagged in the CSV.
Data coverage
Missing values are not zero. The archive contains 12 provisional months. The charts use the data saved for the coursework.

About the project
The Excel workbook uses zero for missing readings. The Python analysis keeps them as missing and only calculates an annual value when all twelve months are available. This means the results differ where data is missing. See the project notes for the calculation rules.
Data source: Met Office historic station data, Armagh. The repository uses the saved coursework snapshot, not the latest observations.
